The Green

Major Gralg Attack Locations

Nuscon, Arizona
This is where the "first attack" happened. Thomas Savan went crazy and attempted to kill Matthias.

Sante Kol, New Mexico
George Hunder and his group continue to experiment on Gralg even after it's made illegal. During their illegal experimentation Gralg was released into the wild.

Winchester, Kentucky
Clohn and Plague tried to get a cure for Gralg that would stop the outbreak. While Clohn managed to get a little bit of the cure, it turned out not to be enough. Plague died during the mission.

What's Known About Gralg (Main Character Point of View)

WARNING: WHAT IS HERE IS WHAT THE MAIN CHARACTER KNOWS, NOT WHAT IS ACTUALLY TRUE.

Matthias Knows (in The Green)
As of The Green: Illegal
Gralg is a green algae that is the same (but in a different form) as a medicine that was being tested to help people with mental disabilities. For some reason the effects were so bad that it was made illegal. It causes people to go crazy and make them see someone as a person they want to kill.

As of The Green: Remnants
Gralg DOESN'T make an infected person see others as someone they want to kill, but makes the infected have blood lust and want to kill/eat anyone in sight. However, some it did help and they weren't "infected". Gralg is a green algae that is the same (but in a different form) as a medicine that was being tested to help people with mental disabilities.

Introduced in The Green: Spreading
Note: Matthias (main character of The Green) finds this website. Though this isn't something he found out from a 'reliable' source.
A conspiracy theorist website talks about something like Gralg. Though their Gralg is a bio-weapon created by the government. And the "side effects" are the actual intended effects.

As of The Green: Spreading
Those that seem unaffected by Gralg can pass the symptoms to their children. If it is a female Gralg will infect her eggs. It is only assumed at this point that the same thing can happen to male sperm.

Yuji Makija/Henry Johnson (bio)

History

Before The Green
Henry saw his mother die and became of dying himself. Because of this, Henry (now called Yuji Makija) started cloning. He cloned his only son John Johnson. And, when the cloning process became too much for his son, he killed John. Besides his son, he cloned other people.

After Matthias Wakes Up and Leaves the Lab
Yuji Makija comes to inspect Matthias when he wakes up. Makija isn't open about Matthias' reasons for being there. When Makija feels that Matthias is ready for real world testing, he lets Matthias go.

Death
*at the current time unknown*

Discovered by Matthias
Matthias discovers Yuji's corpse.

Relationships

Yuji Makija and Matthias
Makija feels almost nothing for Matthias, except Matthias is a good test subject. Makija does have other feelings about Matthias, but he holds those secret to everyone but his closet assistants.

Yuji Makija and John Johnson
Makija doesn't care for his son. John was merely a means to an end. Nothing more and nothing else.
